The 35th Fajr Music Festival officially opened in Tehran with national anthem performance by IRIB (Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting) Symphony Orchestra.

The 35th Fajr Music Festival which is considered as the most important musical event in Iran officially opened on Thursday with IRIB Symphony Orchestra conducted by Arash Amini while the festival had been started with the pop music performance by brothers Arash and Masih at the Milad Hall of the Tehran International Permanent Fairground on Wednesday.

The orchestra performed a repertoire of Ludwig van Beethoven’s masterpieces to observe the German composer’s 250th birthday.

It also performed some pieces by composers like Heshmat Sanjari and Loris Tjeknavorian.
